Betrayal by the Christian Churches in Ukraine

In this historic moment when it is being decided whether the juvenile justice system will be approved in the near future, the Byzantine Catholic Patriarchate appealed to all Christian Churches in Ukraine not to be indifferent but to urge Members of Parliament not to permit in any case legalization of this criminal structure in Ukraine whether in August or at any time later. 1st August 2011 was set as a term by which they were to publish their appeal to the Ukrainian Parliament on their web pages.

The juvenile justice system, without witnesses, without trial, without any real guilt and without a chance of defence, removes children from good families, places them in reception camps and then sells them preferentially to pseudo-families of homosexuals and paedophiles by means of so-called international adoption. Some of these children are criminally sold for organs, as acknowledged by Italian Interior Minister, Roberto Maroni.
On 28th July 2011, a piece of news was published in Russia that juvenile justice removed three children from a young widow in Volgodonsk. The youngest child was four months old. The mother hanged herself in despair. We remind that last year in the Poltava region, where juvenile justice performed its experiment, three mothers committed suicide after their children were removed from them. After legalization of juvenile justice, the prognosis for Ukraine is removal of 30-50 thousand children annually. Members of Parliament are awaiting the official position of the Christian Churches in Ukraine. Silence in this situation is a betrayal and a crime against God and against the nation.
The Byzantine Catholic Patriarchate hereby makes it public before all Christians of Ukraine as well as before the whole Ukrainian nation which of the Churches give tacit consent to the cruellest tyranny over children and their parents, namely the juvenile justice system:

The Orthodox Church of Moscow Patriarchate has reacted several times to juvenile justice by special interventions in Parliament both this and last year. Demonstrations were also organized by the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Kiev Patriarchate. In the fight against destructive influences upon the Ukrainian nation such as homosexuality and juvenile justice were active also Christians of Evangelical Faith – Pentecostals and organizations “Love against homosexuality”, “Parental Committee of Ukraine” and “Orthodox Parental Committee”.

The Byzantine Catholic Patriarchate appeals to all Christian Churches which at the decisive moment betrayed Christ and the nation by their silence to show true and public repentance.

P.S.: Legalization of the juvenile justice system under the term of “Strategy of juvenile criminal justice in Ukraine” was opposed by non-Christians – Muslims – who appealed to state authorities by clear requirements, which they published on the Internet. This fact is a great shame for passive Christians in Ukraine.
